Summer 2021 Information!
We are pleased to announce that our Summer 2021 registration is now open. We are so excited to be offering camp this summer in Culver City and the Pacific Palisades from June 14th – July 30th or August 6th. Camp hours will be staggered from 9am – 4pm. There will be no extended care this summer. We are currently waiting to see if our Westchester site can be rented this summer.
At Iverbe, the safety and well-being of your child is our number one priority. We will continue to follow this guiding light as we reopen to have in-person camp. In order to safely reopen, we will be operating this summer at half capacity. We will also be following all protocols set forth by the city and state including mask wearing, small groups, and hand washing. Because of our limited capacity, we encourage everyone who wants to sign for summer camp to do so quickly, as we anticipate filling up fast. You can sign up now at www.iverbe.com and click on “Register Here.” When you sign up, you will have the option to pay half now and half will be charged to your card on June 1st.
This summer, we will be grouping campers by age/grade in pods of 14-16 campers with two counselors. As of now, we anticipate pods will not mix with other pods while at camp. Iverbe has been safely and successfully been running multiple pods for hundreds of campers for the last six months, and we feel this model will best serve the physical and mental well-being of our campers and community. We will be doing most activities outside, and campers will be required to bring their lunch and a full water bottle to camp. Frequent water/mask breaks will occur while keeping campers socially distant and hydrated.
Iverbe sessions are two weeks this summer. If you want to send your child to Iverbe, you will need to sign up for two weeks at a time. We feel this will give campers a greater opportunity to play safely together in their pod, while allowing them to forge deeper connections with their friends and counselors. A negative Covid Test may be required prior to each camper beginning his/her session.
We will not be offering any discount codes or school district discounts this summer, but you can apply for financial aid by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the reason for the aid. There will be a limited amount of financial aid provided this summer.
We also plan on offering our specialty football, baseball, soccer and dance camps and those registrations will be available soon.
In terms of our CIT program (ages 14-17), we are being mindful of incorporating this age group into our summer program and want to do so as responsibly as possible. We will send information about CITs in the coming weeks.
Iverbe is so excited to begin our 18th summer in Los Angeles. We look forward to seeing all of our Iverbe families and all of our new families as we get our kids back to playing together!
Iverbe Day and Sports Camp is dedicated to creating a fun, positive summer experience in a safe environment at the Willows Community School, Palisades High School and at St. Anastasia School in Westchester.
We are committed to providing your child with a uniquely personal camp experience. Our counselors understand the importance of developing relationships with their campers and will help them build meaningful relationships with each other.
Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where campers are free to explore their capabilities and focus on having fun.
