Tara Ezinkwo was raised in a small town in North Central Pennsylvania. She majored in Elementary education at Bloomsburg University, where she won 2 National championships as a field hockey player. Tara loves sports and mentoring. She was able to do both after college when she mentored athletes through Athletes in Action at Michigan State and USC, as well as leading summer projects in inner-city Los Angeles. While in LA, she met her husband Celestine and they co-founded the non-profit, CryOut, which utilized expressive arts as a platform for youth to address social justice in their community. They moved to Seattle, ran CryOut for 9 years, and had 3 daughters. Back in LA since 2017, you can find Tara at the gym, on the soccer field cheering for her 3 daughters who play club, or crushing it on the pickleball court. She continues to be involved in sports and mentoring as a certified Narrative Enneagram teacher and helping lead the Iverbe after school and summer programs.
